Medieval Runner

Medieval Runner

Run the kingdom. Rise from farmhand to king.

Coming soon

Medieval Runner started with a simple question: what if an endless runner respected your time? No energy bars, no waiting, no timers counting down while you are not playing. You open it, you run, you get better.

The run

The knight runs forward on three lanes. You swipe left and right to change lanes, up to jump, down to slide. Low obstacles — hay bales, carts — are jumped. Hanging obstacles — banners, gate arches — are slid under. Stone walls and portcullises can only be avoided by changing lanes. The track generator guarantees at least one open lane in every row, so there is never an unwinnable wall. If you die, you read the row wrong.

Gold drops throughout the run and gems appear rarely. On the death screen you get one revive per run — watch a rewarded ad or spend gems — which clears the obstacles ahead and grants 2.5 seconds of invulnerability without resetting your distance or gold.

Progression that changes the run

Two currencies, kept deliberately separate. Gold comes from running, and buys the character ranks and the four equipment slots. Gems are rare — collectibles, daily quests, achievements, distance milestones, the shop — and buy horse upgrades and revives.

Every upgrade is felt, not just counted. A higher rank means a faster start. Better boots mean you clear a jump you used to clip. A maxed amulet pulls gold from over four metres away. By the time you reach King you are running a measurably different game than the one you started.

Where it is

In development for Android, built in Unity 6 with URP. English and Turkish, music and sound effects on separate sliders, framerate and quality settings for older phones. It ships when it is good.

What makes it tick

  • Three ways past everything

Jump the hay bales and carts, slide under banners and gate arches, switch lanes for stone walls. The generator always leaves one lane open — every death is yours.

  • Eight ranks of the realm

Farmhand to King. Each rank raises your starting speed and gold multiplier, and visibly adds to the knight — helmet, cloak, crown.

  • Four equipment slots

Sword breaks obstacles, shield absorbs hits, boots raise your jump and lane speed, amulet widens the coin magnet. Five levels each.

  • Ride the warhorse

The horse spawns on the track. Mount it for a speed multiplier and full invulnerability — up to 9.5 seconds at max upgrade.

  • Two worlds, one track

Start in the Medieval Castle. Unlock the Frost Peak with a 1,500 m record and 4,000 gold. Different chunks, obstacles, sky and fog — same tight rules.

  • Reasons to come back

Three daily quests from a pool of ten, reset on UTC rollover. Six permanent achievements. Distance milestones every thousand metres.
